ABA case collaboration
An ABA case is rarely one person’s work. HapMetrix gives the supervising behaviour analyst, the tutors and practitioners, and the family a shared case record. Each person works from the same programme, and what they can see or do depends on their role in that case.

How one case works
Here is the clinical loop HapMetrix is built around: the programme is set up, sessions are recorded against it, the data comes back to the analyst for review, and each person keeps the access their role allows.
Add skill targets with steps and teaching instructions, and behaviour targets, inside the case. Target libraries help with repeatable programme setup.
Assign a lead practitioner and add tutors and the client contact. The family is told when a tutor joins, and the analyst signs off who may record data.
Start a session or log one afterwards. Target data, behaviour data and the session note are saved to the case, even if the connection drops mid-session.
Each session adds a point to the target’s chart. The case overview shows steps mastered, active targets and recent sessions.
Move steps from active to mastered, add phase-change lines and update the programme. Once a session record is closed, changes go through an edit request, so the history stays clear.
The client contact can see progress and session notes, and the practice can export a branded progress summary, so conversations start from the same picture.
ABA data collection software
The aim isn’t just to replace a paper tally with a digital one. In HapMetrix, the data you collect is saved directly to the case and the target it belongs to, so the analyst’s review, the progress chart and the case history all draw on the same record.
Yes/no, trial percentage, task analysis, prompt level (I, VP, GP, PP, HOH), duration and frequency. Break targets into steps with teaching instructions and track each step as active or mastered.
Frequency, duration, latency, intensity, partial interval, whole interval and momentary time sampling, plus ABC records alongside functional assessments.
Session data is saved on the device straight away and synced when the connection returns, so a patchy signal in a family home doesn’t lose data.
Each session keeps its data and note together. Closed records change through an edit request, not a silent overwrite.
Target charts plot one point per session, with phase-change lines marking programme changes. A branded progress summary can be exported as a PDF.
Paper, spreadsheets and shared cases
Paper data sheets are quick and flexible, and many practitioners use them well. Things get harder when a consultant behaviour analyst (UKBA(cert) or BCBA), several tutors and a family are all involved in the same home or school programme.

HapMetrix supports your governance responsibilities. It does not make a practice automatically compliant with any law, and it does not replace your policies, professional judgement or legal advice.

Multi-factor authentication is enforced for applicable accounts, by authenticator app or emailed code depending on role. HTTPS/TLS in transit and encrypted storage for the database and files.

Operated by NovaLattix Ltd, registered with the ICO (ZC211422). The service and its backups run on AWS in eu-north-1 (Stockholm, EEA), and sub-processors are documented.

Built from a real UK ABA practice
HapMetrix started inside a working practice. Pooja Shah (BCBA, UKBA(cert), MSc) runs ABA Consultant London, an independent practice. Her partner, Amit Shah, began building software to help her run that practice more effectively: enquiries, agreements, records, session data, reports and the administration around them.
Pooja has contributed practitioner feedback and workflow input throughout development, and ABA Consultant London now uses HapMetrix as a client. Product feedback therefore comes from day-to-day practice, not from hypothetical workflows.

HapMetrix is UK-first ABA software that brings data collection, case collaboration and practice management together around each case. The behaviour analyst sets up programmes and targets, signed-off tutors (and family members) record session data against them, and progress is charted for review. Agreements, documents and invoicing stay on the same case record.
HapMetrix is for independent and growing UK behaviour analysis practices. That includes UKBA(cert) and BCBA behaviour analysts who supervise cases, the tutors and practitioners who deliver sessions, practice owners and back-office staff, and the families or client contacts involved in a case.
Yes. HapMetrix records credentials from the UK-SBA (UKBA(cert), UKiBA and Practising Registrant) and from the BACB (BCBA, BCaBA and RBT), with registration number and expiry. A case's lead practitioner needs a professional registration recorded in the practice.
Yes. A tutor added to a case can see the programme the behaviour analyst or lead practitioner has set up. Recording session data needs a separate sign-off from the practice, and a working agreement must be in place first. The family is told when a tutor is added and can block their access.
Skill targets can be measured as yes/no, trial percentage, task analysis, prompt level, duration or frequency. Behaviour targets can be measured by frequency, duration, latency, intensity, partial interval, whole interval or momentary time sampling. ABC records, functional assessments and session notes are held in the same case. Sessions can be recorded live or logged afterwards, and data entered offline syncs when the connection returns.
The client contact can see the programme, progress charts and the clinician's session notes, as well as issued documents and invoices addressed to them. They can sign the service agreement electronically, block a tutor's access, and be signed off to record data themselves, for example during a parent-run session. Functional assessments and practice business records are not included.
Yes. HapMetrix is also ABA practice management software. Enquiries, contract templates, signed agreements, case documents, sessions awaiting billing, invoices, payments, discharge and archive are all kept with the case they belong to.
